27 million + JPY is raised in Smacircle S1 Crowdfunding Project

Oct. 15th, the curtain is finally closed on the Smacircle S1 Japanese crowdfunding project on Kibidango. The total support Smacircle got is 27,815,918 Japanese yen from 290 backers at the achievement rate of 120%. Check the page here (https://kibidango.com/1428)

Smacircle S1, made of the most trendy and geeky carbon fiber, is a micro-mobility electric bike that's lightweight, portable & foldable, which is compact enough to fit into a backpack.

Smacircle has done several tweaks to the S1 to comply with the Japanese transportation regulations and made the S1 a Japan version.

Smacircle S1 Japan version, or say “sakura” version, has been added two rearview mirrors and a turn signal light button to the handlebar, the turn signal lights and the license light, as well as a license plate holder to the backside of the seat of the electric bicycle.

Japan is well-known as a bike country, which might also act as a reason that the Japanese media showed their enthusiasm for the innovative smacircle bike brand with a nice amount of media coverage.

Smacircle plans to deliver to their backers in the crowdfunding project from the beginning of March 2021.
